The Tools of the Trade is a community-created cosmetic item for the Engineer. It replaces the Engineer's overalls with a vest with straps with brass buckles running over the shoulders and one around his back. On the vest is a silver wrench, two orange batteries, a screwdriver with a team-colored handle and two front pockets secured by velcro. A pocket is added on the left side on his shirt.
The Tools of The trade was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
