The Bread Box is a craftable item that was introduced in the June 18, 2014 Patch. Before July 10, 2014, the bread box could be crafted by combining 3 pieces of headwear. This item can no longer be crafted, but existing ones can still be used.
When used, it displays a 5 second countdown and plays sounds effects, similarly to a Mann Co. Supply Crate. It then awards the player one of the 4 following items inspired by the Team Fortress 2 movie Expiration Date:
