Texas Slim's Dome Shine is a cosmetic item for the Engineer. It removes the Engineer's hard hat to reveal his shining, bald pate. This item is similar to the Baseball Bill's Sports Shine for the Scout in the manner of that it removes the default headgear.

Trivia
- The item's description is a nod towards one of the Engineer's voice responses when acquiring a kill with the Combat Mini-Sentry, "Sometimes you just need a little less gun." The line itself is a homage to the "Use more gun." line heard in the Meet the Engineer short.
- The name is similar to the Baseball Bill's Sports Shine for the Scout using similar alliteration.
