The HazMat Headcase is a community-created miscellaneous item for the Pyro. It replaces the Pyro's gasmask with the helmet from a hazmat suit.

The HazMat Headcase was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Haphazard Hazmat Wrap Mk.2".

Trivia

  • The HazMat Headcase was originally designed around a piece of original concept art for Team Fortress 2. Valve felt the design too closely mimicked their own art, so they initially rejected the item. The creators then recreated the hat in a new style, different from the concept art.
  • The HazMat Headcase resembles the design of the classic Pyro's helmet.
