The Intangible Ascot is a cosmetic item for the Spy. It is a checkered, team-colored muffler resembling a stock tie (despite the title naming it an ascot) that replaces the Spy's collar and tie, wrapping around his neck and mouth. A small, team-colored smoking pipe protrudes from the top, replacing the Spy's cigarette.
This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.

- The Intangible Ascot was added to the game.
Bugs
- After taunting with the Spy's Disguise Kit, the pipe will turn into a cigarette as soon as it is flicked away.
Trivia
- The high-collared shirt and pipe are based on those worn by Griffin, the main character from the novel The Invisible Man by H. G. Wells, upon which the Invisible Rogue costume set is based.
- In the novel, Griffin wears a white scarf.
