The Gilded Guard is a promotional cosmetic item for the Soldier. It replaces the Soldier's default helmet with a dark, team-colored helmet with an extended bill and neck guard. It features an eagle-like emblem on the front and straps at the side that run down the Soldier's chin.
The Gilded Guard was awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchased Thief on Steam before March 7, 2014.
