The Extra Layer is a community-created cosmetic item for the Sniper. It is a padded vest, with the same color scheme as his original vest, together with a thick, white fleece layer around his neck area. Two straps are seen hanging loose too.
The Extra Layer was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
