The Sniper after a live performance

The Didgeridrongo is a community-created special taunt for the Sniper.

When selected from the taunts menu, the Sniper pulls out a didgeridoo with a spinning flourish, before sitting on the ground and proceeding to play a long, deep-sounding tune. The taunt continues until ended by the player, in which the Sniper stands up and throws the didgeridoo in his hand before putting it away. Any significant damage or push/pull based forces inflicted (such as a compression blast or a Grenade Launcher pipe) instantly stops the taunt, regardless if the Sniper has sat down or is getting up.

The Didgeridrongo was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Trivia

  • The name is a portmanteau of "didgeridoo", the instrument the Sniper plays in this taunt, and "drongo", an insult meaning "idiot" or "stupid" commonly used in Australia and New Zealand (both the Sniper's home country and true birthplace, respectively).
