The Gilded Guard is a promotional cosmetic item for the Soldier. It is based on the helmets worn by The Watch from the video game Thief; a dark, team-colored helmet with an extended bill and neck guard, featuring an eagle-like emblem on the front and straps at the side that run down the Soldier's chin.
This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchased Thief on Steam before March 7, 2014.
