The Gilded Guard is a promotional cosmetic item for the Soldier. It is a dark, team-colored helmet with an extended bill and neck guard. It features an eagle-like emblem on the front and straps at the side that run down the Soldier's chin. The helmet's design is based off of the helmets worn by the Watch, the law enforcement in the game Thief.
The Gilded Guard was awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchased Thief on Steam before March 7, 2014.
