The Engineer on his upgraded mining light

The Data Mining Light is a community-created cosmetic item for the Engineer. It is a chipped yellow-painted helmet with a metal ring around it, with a lit lightbulb on the front. It is a robotized version of the Mining Light.

The Data Mining Light was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

  • "Data mining" in the description refers to the interdisciplinary subfield of computer science, the computational process of extracting information from a data set and transforming it into an understandable structure for further use.
