The Templar's Spirit is a community-created cosmetic item for the Medic. It consists of a hood that casts a shadow over the Medic's face, leaving only glowing yellow eyes visible, an emblem with a Latin cross on it, and two hanging strips of cloth similar to a stole that drape down to the Medic's knees. The overall design is reminiscent of that of a ceremonial cloak of a Templar Knight as well as a Western priest.
This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.
The Templar's Spirit was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
