The Spy

The Noh Mercy is a community-created promotional cosmetic item for the Spy. It is a team-colored traditional oni mask. The Spy's cigarette sticks sideways out of its mouth, wedged between two teeth.

This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-purchased Total War: SHOGUN 2 on Steam before March 15, 2011.

Trivia

  • The Noh Mercy appears to have been styled after the Hannya mask, often used to represent a jealous female that becomes a demon in Japanese Noh plays.
  • The item's name is a portmanteau on the words Noh, referencing Japanese plays and this mask, and No Mercy.
