The Gilded Guard is a promotional cosmetic item for the Soldier.
It replaces the default Soldier's helmet with a dark, team-colored helmet with the ends in the front extending past his eyes and the back extending down his neck with an eagle-like emblem in the center. It also adds straps at the side that runs down the Soldier's chin.
This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchased Thief on Steam before March 7, 2014.

- [Undocumented] Renamed from "The Baronial Bouncer" to "The Gilded Guard".
Trivia
- The helmet's design is based off of the helmets worn by the "Watch", who are run by the "Baron", in the game Thief.
