Sun Tzu said that.

The Hero's Hachimaki is a promotional item for the Soldier obtained by pre-ordering Homefront on Steam. It is a team colored headband featuring a white circle and star design in the center. The design of the headband and the way it is worn over the eyes is a reference to the cover of Homefront.

The version of the item awarded by pre-ordering Homefront has Genuine quality and is not tradable. It is currently unknown whether or not the hat will be made craftable and/or tradable once the promotional period ends (similar to the RIFT promotional items).

Homefront is currently unavailable for pre-purchase in England.

Trivia

  • A Template:W (鉢巻, lit. "helmet-scarf") is a stylized headband in Japanese culture, usually made of red or white cloth. It was worn as a symbol of perseverance or effort by the wearer. Japanese kamikaze pilots in World War II would often wear hachimakis before flying to their deaths.
  • The design features the red star of Communism from the Template:W, a major plot point in Homefront.
