The Gilded Guard is a promotional cosmetic item for the Soldier. It replaces the default Soldier's helmet with a dark, team-colored helmet with the ends in the front extending past his eyes and the back extending down his neck with an eagle-like emblem in the center. It also adds straps at the side that runs down the Soldier's chin. The helmet is based on the helmet worn by the guards in Thief.

This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchased Thief on Steam before March 7, 2014.
