The Toss-Proof Towel is a miscellaneous item for the Heavy. It is a white towel with a team-colored stripe, similar to those worn by fighters when entering the boxing ring, draped around the Heavy's shoulders.
The Toss-Proof Towel was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Heavy Training".

- The phrase "throw in the towel" is an idiom that means to admit defeat. The phrase comes from boxing, wherein a trainer may throw a towel into the ring to signal that his fighter cannot continue.
