The Sniper on crocodile hunting

The Ol' Snaggletooth is a headwear item for the Sniper released with the Polycount Pack. It is the head of a crocodile. The Sniper puts his head in through the bottom, and sees through the mouth. It consists of the top half of an crocodile head and an elastic band.

As with all of the item set hats, this hat can be crafted from four Refined Metals and one weapon from the Croc-o-Style Kit set.

Trivia

  • This is actually the second Sniper hat that involves crocodile teeth, with the Trophy Belt wrapping around his default Slouch Hat.
  • The hat is of a crocodile's head, while Darwin's Danger Shield is the back of a crocodile. Aesthetically, they look like a single item when simultaneously equipped.
  • From nrek's "Croc-O-style" Polycount Pack. Originally called "Ol' Snaggletooth".
  • Many species of freshwater crocodile live in the rivers of Australia. Given his ranger background, the Savage Snaggletooth was probably fashioned from a crocodile that got on the wrong side of the Sniper.
  • Since this "jawless" crocodile appears to have teeth, the Sniper probably used the teeth on its lower jaw to create the Trophy Belt (how efficient).
    • Even though it is called the Savage Snaggletooth, it probably isn't so savage anymore, not after the Sniper has dealt with it.
  • Another well-known fictional Australian, Michael J. "Crocodile" Dundee, had a scar inflicted by a crocodile. However, it is not known whether he later killed and fashioned a hat out of it.
