The Grenadier Helm is a community-created promotional cosmetic item for the Demoman. It is based on the helmet worn by dwarfen Grenadier from the video game Hero Academy; a battered and worn horned helmet with a small patch on the front.
This item was awarded in Unique quality to players who purchased Hero Academy on Steam. Purchasing this item in the Mann Co. Store granted the buyer a Steam Gift copy of the Dwarves Pack downloadable content for Hero Academy.
The Grenadier Helm was later contributed to the Steam Workshop, at Valve's request.
