The Brainiac Hairpiece is a hat for the Engineer. It is a set of Template:W, and features a frizzy white hairpiece and mustache. The item was named the "Maths-Enhancing Hair-Do" in promotional materials on the Australian Christmas 2011 update page on the TF2 Official Website and the Weta Workshop website.
The Brainiac Hairpiece was contributed to game via the Steam Workshop.
