The Vigilant Pin is a promotional miscellaneous item item for all classes. The pin is a black and gold, pentagon-shaped badge with four triangles in side of the pentagon and with three triangles containing 4-pointed stars with in themselves and a team-colored base holding the pentagon with white stripes running down both sides.

This item is awarded to players who pre-purchase XCOM: Enemy Unknown before October 9th, 2012.
