The Heartwarming Headache is an unreleased headwear item for all classes. It is a small, fictional, spider-looking alien that sits on the player's head.

Trivia
- This hat is a reference to the headcrabs from the Template:W series. It also bears Black Mesa logo from Half-Life series, on the place of laundry symbols.
- Headcrabs are referred as "headhumpers" by Barney Calhoun in Half-Life 2.
- The origin of the name comes from an old (now closed) Jewish bakery in Seattle, which had supplied cookies for Valve Christmas parties. The cookies themselves had ample amounts of brandy baked into them, making them huge hits with the developers, and leading to the name "Heartwarming Headache."
