Demoman'en er en scrumpy-drikkende nedrivningsekspert fra det skotske højland, og en af de mest alsidige medlemmer af [Team/da|holdet]]. Til trods for at hans våben ikke er særlig præcise på langere afstand, er Demoman'en yderst kraftfuld og uforudsigelig, hvilket gør ham i stand til at kunne klare sig selv i stort set hver en situation. Han er en sprængningsmester, som udmærker sig ved indirekte og kampe på mellem afstand. Udstyret med hans granatkaster og klæbebombekaster, bruger Demoman'en sit eneste gode øje og sin kendskab til det omkringliggende miljø til veltimede detoneringer, som sender hans fjender i vejret, ofte i flere stykker. Skulle nogen komme forbi hans eksplosioner, vil de bliver chokeret over at lære at Demoman'en også er dygtig til [[Weapons/da#demomanmelee|nærkamp]}, og er en af de farligste klasser i spillet med en række kraftige nærkampsvåben at kunne låse op for i sit arsenal.

- Demomane'ns stemmeaktør, Gary Schwartz, ligger også stemme til Heavy'en.
- I Demoman'ens tidlige udviklingsstadie, var det meningen at han skulle have haft et stereotypisk skotsk udseende, blandet andet med bleg hud og rødt hår. Det var senere droppet, og det blev i stedet en sort skotsk karakter, både fordi det tidligere valg manglede originalitet og det nyere udseende var lettere at skille ud fra alle de andre klasser. [1]
- Ifølge hans biografi, mistede Demoman'en sit øje før han blev fundet af hans rigtige forældre, men i WAR! comic, er det et portræt med ham og hans forældre, hvor han har begge sine øjne.
- I seglet bagerst i portrættet, kan man se følgende tekst "In Regionem Caecorum Rex Est Luscus.", på dansk betyder dette "I de blindes land, er den enøjede man konge".
- Demoman'en havde i starten en pakke med dynamit, formentlig i stedet for klæbebombekasteren, som en reference til 2006 traileren. Mekanikken var lignende til dem som MIRV-granaten, fra Team Fortress Classic, havde.
- Template:W var hyret som den første Demoman.
- Emblemet på Demoman'ens arm var oprindeligt en bombe, men var senere ændret til dynamit. Fra 19 November 2010 har det været en klæbebombe. Andre optrædener som logoet har i spillet, er ikke blevet ændret, som f.eks. 119th Medaljerne eller Drankerens Capotain.
