The Spy on the Art Pass contest

The Mapper's Medallion is a Miscellaneous item that is to be given to those who entered the Art Pass contest. It appears as a gold medal on a team-colored ribbon, attached to the player's chest, with a hammer on it.

Trivia

  • This medal features the Hammer logo.
  • The gold color may be a reference to gold medals given to winners of contests.
  • The hammer is a reference to Hammer, the level editing program
  • The level editing program is called Hammer, which may be why the medal has a hammer on it.
  • The medal is not jiggleboned, so it does not jiggle with the player.
  • The medal is red with racing stripes, leading some people to believe it makes you go faster. Ironically, however, it does not.
  • Ironically, this medal is for an Art Pass contest, but artists do not user hammers to make art.
  • When on the RED team, the cloth part of the item bears a striking similarity to the flag of Austria, where one of the entrants my have been from.
  • When on the BLU team, the cloth part of the item bears a striking similarity to the flag of Argentina, where one of the entrants my have been from.
  • Some say, he was forged from pure Australium in the heart of Australia, and that he only knows two facts about ducks, and both of them are false. All we know is, he's called the Mapper's Medallion.
