Trivia
- A Kanmuri is the formal head attire for Template:W priests, and is worn for important ritual occasions.
- This very formal hat dates back to the Template:W, from the late 8th century to the end of the 12th century. Originally worn by the nobility on formal occasions, the kanmuri is now part of traditional Shinto priests' clothing.
