You kids today don't know how to dominate.
The Soldier fondly remembering his origins

The Original is a promotional primary weapon for the Soldier. Styled after the Rocket Launcher from Quake, the model of which was used in the original Team Fortress mod for the Soldier's Rocket Launcher and the Pyro's Incendiary Cannon, it appears as a tan rocket launcher with a gray tubular exhaust port, bulky barrel and a gray handle.

Like in the original Quake, the Original's viewmodel is in the center of the screen and rockets launch straight into the crosshair. The world model remains in the same position as the Rocket Launcher.

The Original is awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchase Quake 4 before August 8, 2011.
