The Frying Pan is an unlockable weapon included in the Polycount Pack, used by the Soldier and Demoman. Gameplay-wise it has no difference from the Shovel and/or Bottle; it is just a different model as with the Big Kill and Lugermorph . The weapon can be crafted with a melee slot token, class token, and scrap metal for either demoman or soldier. The weapon is likely related to the new Left 4 Dead 2 campaign, "The Sacrifice," and will be released around the time the DLC is released. L4D2 Frying pan

• The Frying Pan is a melee weapon in another Valve game, Left 4 Dead 2.
• A similar Frying Pan was designed for the unofficial Fancy vs. Nasty update.
• The Demoman's taunt with the Frying Pan is the same as that of the Bottle, so he drinks the Frying Pan as he does the Pain Train.
• As a Soldier, selecting the Frying Pan, like the Pain Train, still creates the sound heard when the Shovel flips open.
• The Frying Pan has yet to be given a unique kill icon.
• It can be crafted by using 1 Soldier token, 1 Melee token and 1 Scrap metal. Theres 1 out of 3 chance to get it.
