  • The description references the fact the AWP is commonly banned in Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike: Source servers.
  • The weapon's name is a play on "upper hand", referencing the advantage AWP users have, due to its immense stopping power.
  • The weapon model is ripped straight out of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but the textures were edited to fit Team Fortress 2's art style.
  • The weapon uses the firing sound effect from CS:GO.
