The Battalion's Back-up is a community-made secondary weapon for the Soldier. Released with the Polycount Update it appears as a bronze coloured bugle, and gear featuring a transmitter with a folded map secured by a couple of straps and an attached compass mounted on the Soldier's back.
The pack works essentially in reverse to the Buff Banner functionality wise. Once a Soldier has taken 600 damage in a single life, he can use the weapon to make nearby teammates immune to Crits, as well as blocking 35% of all incoming damage.
Damage
None. Rage Meter requires around 200 taken damage to fill.
Function times
- Attack Interval: 10 seconds.
- Trumpeting Time: ~3 seconds
All times are in seconds. Times are approximate and determined by community testing.
