Covering is an effect that is inherent in certain weapons.

May 21, 2009 Patch (Sniper vs. Spy Update)

  • Added Jarate to the game.

September 30, 2010 Patch (Mann-Conomy Update)

  • Added Mad Milk and Sydney Sleeper to the game.

August 2, 2012 Patch

  • Added Neon Annihilator to the game.

Bugs

  • While the cvar mp_usehwmmodels is set to 1, player model heads will not be tinted yellow when coated with Jarate.
  • Similarly, when thrown at a Sentry Buster, the "bomb" part of the model will not be tinted yellow; only the legs will be tinted.
  • Jarate from Sydney Sleeper can be applied to ÜberCharged enemies, however they will not take damage.
