El Lamento del Tramposo (Cheater's Lament, en inglés) es un objeto cosmético para todas las clases. Tiene el aspecto de una aureola dorada luminosa sujeta a la cabeza del portador por dos alambres.

La descripción del objeto fue contribuida por AndyAML para el Concurso de Descripción de Sombreros.

Este objeto fue otorgado el 2 de septiembre de 2009 a todos los jugadores que no habían utilizado programas externos para conseguir objetos de forma ilegal y que hubieran jugado al menos una vez desde la introducción del sistema de obtención aleatoria de objetos. Durante la Actualización de la Mann-Conomía se volvió a repartir el Lamento del Tramposo a los que no lo consiguieron la primera vez por no tener aún el juego y a los que usaron programas para obtener sombreros de forma ilegal y no lo obtuvieron la primera vez que se repartió, pero no volvieron a usarlos.
