The Pocket Shotgun is a secondary weapon for the Soldier. It is currently only available in the Team Fortress 2 Beta. It uses the Shotgun model.

This weapon deals the same damage as the default Shotgun, however if a Soldier using this weapon is being healed by a Medic, the weapon will deal 25% more damage. If the Soldier isn't being healed by a Medic, the weapon switch time will be 25% longer.

Since the item is still in an unreleased stage, these attributes may be changed or the weapon may be scrapped entirely.

Bugs

  • While reloading, it is possible to force the reload animation to loop endlessly by holding both the left mouse button and the right mouse button after reloading at least one shell.
