Ha ha ha! Oktoberfest!
The Medic

Upon taunting with the Kritzkrieg equipped, the Medic puts his face up to the barrel of his weapon and inhales deeply, healing himself for 11 health. The Medic is vulnerable while performing the taunt. The taunt can still be used to heal the Medic during Humiliation. You can still heal an ally while performing it if you have selected the 'Medigun heal after release' option in the advanced multiplayer options menu. Performing the taunt does not fill your ÜberCharge meter.

This taunt is best used when you are alone and taking passive damage (on fire and/or bleeding), and believe that your automatically regenerating health won't be sufficient enough to save you before you burn or bleed to death, or if you are carrying the Blutsauger; just make sure there are no enemies about when you perform this taunt!

Damage

None. Heals 11HP.

Trivia

  • This taunt was based off an unused one for the Medigun. It was speculated to have been removed to avoid drug references, but was eventually re-added for the Kritzkrieg.
  • It is speculated that the inhale animation is a reference to marijuana in water pipes, but looking at the background of The Medic, it is more likely a reference to the smelling of brews during the Oktoberfest celebrations in Germany.
  • This is the only "taunt attack" in the game that doesn't cause any damage, but heals instead.
  • Prior to the comeback, there was a sound file, "Ha ha ha, Oktoberfest!" that accompanied the taunt. But both were disabled when it was speculated that the taunt was a drug reference. Even though the taunt was restored, the sound was not included, though it is still in the game files. From a logical perspective, it would be difficult to breathe in and shout at the same time.
