Upon taunting with the Eyelander sword equipped, the Demoman brings his sword up in one hand, twirls it, and then slashes it horizontally at neck level, before cleaning the blade with his fingers. The swing of the sword will decapitate any enemy slow, unaware or simply unfortunate enough to be within range.
Killing a player with this taunt adds a head to the Eyelander's meter but does not count towards any achievements that count the Eyelander's kills. Additionally, the taunt will still decapitate if the target is standing directly on top or underneath of the Demoman.
The Decapitation can be used to kill enemy players during Humiliation and Stalemates.

Trivia
- There is an unused "decapitated" model located in the game files which depicts a clean cut neck, located in the Soldier directory.
- Though the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker functions exactly the same as the Eyelander in every other aspect, it is unable to perform the decapitation taunt.
