The Bonesaw is the melee weapon for the Medic class. It appears as a typical medical saw for use during operations.
Whilst similar to all melee weapons, this is especially useful for taking out Spies that may be attempting to Backstab the Medic's heal target. In some cases, the bone saw is favored over the Syringe Gun as a combat weapon. Its Critical hit animation is a fast upwards sawing motion.

Trivia
- The Bonesaw has a Developer weapon variant.
- The Bonesaw, like the Wrench, is observed to generally have a higher Critical hit rate than other melee weapons. This is not because of something innately different about the weapon, as all the melee weapons that deal random Crits have the same base chance, but because the damage done by the Medic's patients is counted as his for the purposes of random Crit rolls.
