Spectral Flame is a tool item. When applied to any of the Pyro's primary weapons, any emitted flame particles and afterburn effects will be colored with a mixture of red and green.
Prior to Scream Fortress 2015, it could be found during Halloween events inside of Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort, or from a Pile Of Curses.

- Effects will only be visible during Halloween/Full Moon events.

December 17, 2015 Patch (Tough Break Update)
- [Undocumented] Halloween spells are no longer tradable.
Bugs
- When applied to the Phlogistinator or the Rainblower, the unique particle effect of the flames emitted from the weapon is replaced with normal green flames.
- This item's backpack icon incorrectly uses the coloring overlay intended for paint cans.
- Spectral Flames do not affect gibs when cl_burninggibs 1 is enabled.
- This item cannot be applied to Stock weapons.
- The flames will follow an enemy Spy for a short time if he activates the Dead Ringer while on fire with Spectral Flames.
- This will also happen with the Spy-cicle.
Notes
- Any unused Halloween Spell items are removed at the end of a Halloween event.
- When this item is applied, the text will appear as "Halloween: Halloween Fire" in the loadout.
