The RIFT Well Spun Hat Claim Code is a tool item that allows a player to redeem a "Well Spun Hat" in RIFT. It is given to those who earn the "Riftwalker" achievement. The item has one use, and it is applied by methods similar to a Paint Can or a Mann Co. Supply Crate Key. Players do not have to own RIFT in order to obtain the ticket. The key could be used before RIFT's official release. Users also do not have to be the owner of the Steam account that has the specified RIFT Well Spun Hat Claim Code to consume the reward.

  • [Undocumented] The Riftwalker achievement no longer awards the RIFT Well Spun Hat Claim Code.

Bugs

  • It is possible to get the Riftwalker achievement and not get the RIFT Well Spun Hat Claim Code, simply by being a Spy and using an enemy teleporter to get this achievement.
  • The Riftwalker achievement can be obtained by killing an enemy after spawning rather than teleporting.

Trivia

  • The associated achievement 'Riftwalker' is identical to the Heavy achievement Five Second Plan. However, it can be accomplished with any class.
