Process is an unofficial Control Point map made by Scorpio Uprising. The map contains a base for each team, an open second point for each team on top of a building, and a center point surrounded by crates where three entrances to both bases can be found.

The objective of Process is to control all five capture points. Each team starts with their second and final control points locked, leaving only the middle point available.

In competitive play, Process tends to be well-liked by players. It was added to ESEA's map list for its eleventh season.

Place names

All place names are given from the perspective of defense as their primary name (in terms of left and right), except obviously for the middle control point.

Control Points 1/5

Final point.

Control Points 2/4

Second point.

Control Point 3

Mid.

Because of the symmetrical style of Process (and almost all 5-Point Control Point maps), each team shares a similar landmark/location on their respective sides of the middle point. A popular method to counteract this is to add the prefix "our" or "their", e.g. "their Choke". Some players may also refer the middle point as "Mid".

  • Control Point: The middle point is comprised of two shacks with a metal walkway connecting the two. Crates are set directly next to the point.
  • IT/Computer Room: The room that heads out from the middle point. This leads to the flank. The roamer and scouts sometimes watch this area.
  • Sewer: The building located on either side of the point where the IT room isn't located. The roamer and scouts sometimes watch this area.
  • Choke: The pathway in between the two buildings, leading to the second point area. The combo usually comes to mid through this path.
