Operation Galvanized Gauntlet was a Mann vs. Machine charity tour organized and hosted by Potato's Custom MvM Servers, that entered open beta on September 4, 2023, before officially launching on September 12. The tour concluded on October 11.

Tour
On September 4, 2023, Operation Galvanized Gauntlet went into public beta, with 24 missions spread across 20 maps, including the official map Rottenburg, as well as returning maps from previous community campaigns, and newly featured maps, including Bronx, Humbridge, and Saxford.
Several more maps and missions were added to the campaign during the beta period, bringing the total up to 35 missions spread across 26 maps at launch. The tour officially launched on September 12.
Further missions were added during the campaign's post-beta period, bringing the grand total to 38 missions, across 28 maps.

This event had four medals which were able to be earned by players: one as a reward for participation in the tour, and three for donations to a charity drive benefiting Direct Relief, to provide aid for the August 2023 Hawaii wildfires. Clearing any twelve missions earned the player the Soldiers Spoils medal.
In addition, players were able to donate varying amounts through item or monetary donations to receive donor medals. Donating at least 5 dollars earned the player the Shimmering Souvenir medal, donating at least 15 dollars earned the player both the Shimmering Souvenir and Bejeweled Bounty medals, and donating at least 25 dollars earned the player all three donation medals: the Shimmering Souvenir, Bejeweled Bounty, and Opulent Ornament. The charity drive concluded on October 11, earning a total of $43,358.29 USD.
Content creators whose missions were accepted for use in the event were awarded the Potato of Labor medal.
The Soldiers Spoils player medal reuses the model for the Iron Recall Medal from Operation Canteen Crasher, while the Shimmering Souvenir, Bejeweled Bounty, and Opulent Ornament donor medals reuse the models for the Royal Rhodonite, Grandiose Garnet, and Pinnacle of Ingenuity, respectively, returning from Operation Madness vs Machines.
Three of the four medals initially drop with custom painted colors which are not otherwise available in-game: the Shimmering Souvenir drops with a bright yellow color, the Bejeweled Bounty drops with an emerald green color, and the Opulent Ornament drops with a special team color, using a slightly dark pink on RED team, and a denim blue shade on BLU team. The Soldiers Spoils medal drops with a A Mann's Mint paint pre-applied.
Each of the donor medals have two styles, named "Normal" and "Gem Only". The "Gem Only" style displays only the gemstones, without the robot hands or metal frames.
The player medal was contributed to the Steam Workshop by Colteh, Rev, Swordstone, Wave, Nuke, kratos , Benoist3012, Pelipoika, sigsegv, Hyperion, Hydrogen , sedisocks, Sntr, NeoDement, Star Bright, and InterrobangTF2 .
