The Costume Transmogrifier is a tool item. It is represented by a cardboard box branded with the respective class logo spray painted on with white spray paint in what seems to be stencil, a red paper arrow pinned to the box which points to a drawing of the appropriate class emblem, and some steel piping taped onto the side.

Using it on any Scream Fortress 2013 cosmetic item will replace the item with a random cosmetic item, equippable by the respective class, although all-class items cannot be obtained. The item's level and quality will remain intact, therefore a Haunted item so transformed will change into a Haunted item of the appropriate class.
