What's in the Team Fortress 2 Soundtrack Box? is an action item for all classes. It appears as a purple gift box with lime polka dots tied with a fuchsia ribbon. A Description Tag with a question mark is attached to the top of the box.
The box is given to players who purchase Fight Songs: The Music of Team Fortress 2, the Team Fortress 2 official soundtrack. The soundtrack comes with a download code, which awards the box upon redemption.
It became usable after the April 20, 2017 Patch. An Audio File is issued in Genuine quality when the box is opened.
Team Fortress 2 Soundtrack Boxes distributed after the June 29, 2023 item schema update are untradable, issuing untradable Audio Files when opened. Soundtrack Boxes distributed prior to the item schema update remain tradable, and may be listed on the Steam Community Market.
