The Warmth Preserver is a community-contributed cosmetic item for the Heavy. It turns the Heavy's default vest into a padded vest with a collar and a zipper. The vest's shoulder part and collar are team-colored while the lower portions are dark and the zipper is white. The vest's back part is the unchanged one of the Heavy's default vest.

The Warmth Preserver was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Trivia

  • Prior to being confirmed into the game, the Warmth Preserver's team-colored parts were dull-green and paintable, as shown in the item's Steam Workshop thumbnail.
  • The Warmth Preserver, the Trash Man, the Leftover Trap and the Rat Stompers were contributed together as the "The Lord Of The Rats" item set for the Heavy.
