The Loch-n-Load is the new secondary weapon for the Demoman, released for the The Expert's Ordnance set. It appears as a break-action Grenade Launcher, with separate barrels for each of the two grenades it fires.

The grenades fired by the Loch-n-Load are much faster, and inflict slightly more damage, but are more hazardous to the Demoman that fired them, and will shatter harmlessly if they hit something other than an enemy player.

Note: As of now, the Loch-n-Load is the only secondary unlock for the Demoman, and it is a guaranteed result when using the appropriate class and slot tokens to craft. Crafting the Loch-n-Load via tokens and scrap metal can save up to 5 items if used instead of the 2 Reclaimed Metal+Scottish Resistance blueprint.

Related Achievements

Blind Fire Destroy an Engineer building that you can't see with a direct hit from your Grenade Launcher. Bloody Merry Provide an enemy player with a freeze cam of your smiling face.

Glasg0wned Kill 25 Scouts and Pyros with the Grenade Launcher. Laddy Macdeth Kill 50 enemies with direct hits from the Grenade Launcher.

Bugs

• The Loch-n-Load uses the same reload animation as the Grenade Launcher, thus making it appear as if the Demoman is putting the grenades on the side of the barrel instead of in it.
• The Loch-n-Load has been known to bounce off certain dynamic surfaces (such as the moving walkways of Nucleus), as well as opposing team players, and also players on your team.
