The Something Special For Someone Special is a crafting item, appearing as a silver diamond ring in a dark blue-colored case that is traditionally associated with an engagement ring.
When it shows up in your special someone's backpack, they can click on it to open a menu that will let them accept your proposal. Once the proposal's been accepted, a message will be broadcast to the entire community that will include your name, your special someone's name, and whatever you decided to call the ring.
The gift then turns into a matching pair of diamonds.
The Something Special for Someone Special was contributed to the game via the Steam Workshop, under the name "Engagement Ring".
Upon first sign-in after 4:55 PST players will be notified that player "DLTN" has recieved the "Painted Something Special For Someone Special".
