The Buffalo Steak Sandvich is an unlockable secondary weapon for the Heavy. It is part of the Hibernating Bear set. It consists of a slab of buffalo steak and serves as an alternative to the Sandvich and Dalokohs Bar. When eaten with primary fire it heals no damage. However secondary fire will throw down the Steak Sandvich like one would the Sandvich and have it function as normal, healing 50% health.
While under the effects, move speed is increased, damage done and taken will be Mini-Crits, and the player may only use melee weapons. The buff lasts 15 seconds and brings the user to 311 hu/s, roughly 35% faster than normal walking speed. The GRU increases the speed further to 400 hu/s, about 74% faster than normal. These effects are not applied on dropped Steaks.

Bugs
- Attempting to drop the Steak Sandvich will drop a normal Sandvich instead. It functions in the same way as a normal dropped Sandvich.
- If eaten with the GRU equipped, the speed increasing effects will stack, allowing the Heavy to run at the same speed as a Scout.
