The Fear Monger is a community-created Cosmetic item for the Pyro based upon the Batman villain, Scarecrow. It is a stitched together and well-worn hood and mask over the Pyro's respirator tied together with a torn noose, similar to those used to hang criminals and potential witches during the Salem Witch Trials.

This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchased Batman: Arkham Knight on Steam before November 16, 2015.

  • This item along with the other entries in the Arkham Knight contest is based off the superhero Batman and his many villains. This item is based upon Scarecrow, a villain that uses fear based weaponry to cause mayhem in Gotham.
  • A monger is a trader or promoter of a commodity or activity, but unlike a marketer, usually will go to extensive, even illegal, lengths to promote their product.
