2023年2月9日 - TF2 Official Blogが更新 : 題名「Attention, Steam Workshop Creators! (Steamワークショップクリエイターの諸君、注目せよ!)」 Valveは、今年の夏にリリース予定の大規模なアップデートを開発していると発表しました! 本企画の一部として、2023年5月1日前までにSteamワークショップへ投稿された作品の中からいくつかを選び、正式に採用するとのこと。この機会に是非挑戦してみてください。

2020年7月10日 - TF2公式ブログが更新：題名「TF2 Fight Songs Album is Getting a Free Expansion Pack（TF2 Fight Songs アルバムに無料拡張パックが登場）」Valve は「Fight Songs: The Music of Team Fortress 2」を更新し、新曲3曲を追加しました。 Yeti Park、 Saxton's Dilema 、そして Mercenary Park です。また、このアルバムの楽譜とSibeliusファイルも公開されました。

2020年5月4日 - TF2公式ブログが更新：題名「A Hell of a Campaign（地獄のような作戦）」 Valve は2020年4月8日に亡くなったソルジャーの声優リック・メイ（英語）氏を追悼しました。新しいサウンドトラックとソルジャーの銅像がゲームに追加されました。

2019年12月16日 - TF2公式ブログが更新：題名「Merry Smissmas, Everyone!（メリー・スミスマス、皆さん！）」新スミスマスアップデートでは、18の新しいコミュニティ製装飾アイテム、10の新しいコミュニティ製 War Paints 、そして17の新しいコミュニティ製アンユージュアルエフェクトが追加されました！靴下の中のクリスマスプレゼントを忘れずにチェックして、Mann Co. ストアで50％の大幅割引をご利用ください！

2019年8月2日 - TF2公式ブログが更新：題名「Update on the Crate Depression of 2019 （2019年の木箱恐慌に関する更新）」一部の木箱を開梱すると必ずアンユージュアルの装飾アイテムが手に入るバグが修正されました。 Valve は状況のアップデートを行い、影響を受けるインベントリのアップデートの更新状況の概要を掲載しています。
