Area 52 is a custom Mann vs. Machine map made by Woozlez and Zorboz. In Area 52, there are jump pads players can use to reach high areas and a gate robots can capture to get to the hatch quicker. The map offers 4 default missions: 1 Normal, 2 Advanced and 1 Expert.
Area 52 is also one of the maps included in the custom event Operation Canteen Crasher. In Canteen Crasher, players can complete the advanced endurance mission Extraterrestrial Epicdemic and advanced mission Tech Mechs for contract points.
