Greetings, Scranix.

Please take a look at the recent edits to the articles you translated to Spanish.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Sorry for this stupid question, but, you mean to remove the advertisments of stubs and that kind of things?

BrazilianNut (talkcontribs)

I was removing the "This page was made by a bot" comment in {{stub}} after descriptions for the new items' appearances were written since, well, that was not part of the bot's job.

Instructions and comments on notices such as {{stub}} and {{update trans}} are optional. They are helpful, but optional.

Sorry, my bad, I didn't totally read the message. I'm going to take a look. Thank you for your notice!

Hi there.

There are still some mistakes you're making when translating articles.

  • Common nouns and adjectives ("objeto", "conceptual"...) do not need upper case initials.
  • You are coming up with translations for things that either already have an official localization ("Costume Piece" is "Accesorio de Disfraz") or still have not been localized (such as "Torn Pants" and "Dog Head"), which should be kept in English until officially localized.
    • Always refer to the localization files. They can be found in the game's files, in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\resource by default. The main ones are the tf_language ones.
  • The Spanish translations for "Painted variants" and "Update history" are "Variaciones de color" and "Historial de actualización". Also, "See also" is "Véase también".
    • If you are unsure about a section's name or a commonly used term in Spanish, try using {{common string| }} on it (ex.: {{common string|Unusual effects}}).
    • If there is no common string for it, try checking the common strings dictionary or search the wiki for it in existing articles.
  • The translation for "Steam Workshop thumbnail for X" is pretty straightforward: "Miniatura de la Steam Workshop para el/la/los/las X" (there is no "when it was contributed to the Steam Workshop").

I hope this helps. Once again, feel free to ask any questions.
