Can we get a nice image for the article, of say an engineer corpse on a teleporter exit, at the foot of a spy with a devious look on his face? Whoever does the model images for the other articles has done a great job so far, really adds volume to the articles. MK 20:01, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Telefraging Demostration Video

A Exmaple Demostration Video for the Telefrag page i created: [1] If you would like to use this video and require the orignal avi file please leave me a message on my Talk Page. ----Coneill987 03:50, 13 December 2010

Telefraging Page...

The only way i could find a link to this page was through the Engineer's Teleporter Page and such, should we add the Telefrag as an ability to the Engineeer? (even though any class can pull this off) or somewhere on his page, unless i missed it lol. Gamecrazy009 22:28, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Special:WhatLinksHere/Telefrag. (No opinion on the engineer) --CruelCow 22:29, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

When was that change made?

So, the Trivia section states that telefrags used to be attributed to the Teleporter Exit, not the player. When was this changed? I've searched the patch notes, but I keep on missing it. InShane 05:45, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Telefrag range

The range seems to be exactly the size of the teleporter but spies often kill me when i upgrading teleporter. Whats the exact parameters of the telefrag effect? Turtlebolt 07:13, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

It's based on the invisible non-rotating boxes that surround players and are used for collision detection. You know how you can/always get stuck on nails sticking out of walls that are five feet away? Same object. Toomai Glittershine 22:56, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Original telefrag

The term telefrag comes from the game Doom. Turtlebolt 07:13, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

A Weapon Demonstration is in the making

...so why don't we use that one before it's done? (I'm referring to the last two edits) Kazzymodus 22:05, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Section on Spy Strategy

I'm not sure if I understand what the third paragraph is saying. Does the spy sap the entrance or the exit? If he saps the exit and sneaks by the engineer, he can get to the entrance and telefrag the engineer at the exit, correct? Response/explanation/edit appreciated! BK275 20:26, 2 July 2011 (PDT)

Achievements

Given how popular a tactic telefragging is for Spies, I think there should be an achievement made for it, with the criteria being "Telefrag X number of Engineers" or the like. Also, seeing as how it can be used in reverse, it would make sense to have a corresponding achievement for Engies who telefrag X number of Spies who have recently attempted to sap their teleporters. I would like to hear opinions on this from others. Orca19904 21:22, 15 November 2011 (PST)

Possible to survive a telefrag?

I saw a video today showing that it is possible to survive a telefrag, while you are taunting with the Phlogistinator. I've added a "Bugs" section and put it there. --Becquerel 22:16, 31 March 2012 (PDT)

I'm pretty sure this was fixed by the update on April 17th. However, I think it should be tested again just to be sure. Hummus 15:51, 24 April 2012 (PDT)

Concheror change [pyromania]

The "trivia" section says it will "charge most of the Concheror's" rage meter. I assume that telefragging just fully charges the meter now - can someone please confirm? Pognet 12:00, 19 August 2012 (PDT)

Yes, it fully charges the rage meter now, I've had it happen several times. Payn (talk) 10:07, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

Mad Milk

If someone were to telefrag an enemy covered by Mad Milk, would the telefragger recover 600 health? PinkieThePie 00:27, 4 April 2013 (PDT)

That is a good question.Super Prototype... not so super. 11:00, 18 April 2013 (PDT)
I just tested it and I can confirm that it does not heal you if you telefrag a Mad Milked player User Bojjob Userlink.png 12:13, 26 October 2015 (PDT)

Telefrag whilst an enemy user uses the teleporter ENTRACE whilst you are on top?

I have 0 idea if this is a bug or not, but when I play spy and I go to use a teleporter, sometimes when I use the entrance and someone else is on the entrance and they go through, I get telefragged. Should add this happens with enemy teleporters. Can someone explain this? It's really confusing, and I don't think it was intended. Payn (talk) 01:11, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

It may have been a failsafe to prevent weird stuff happening. Never seen it before, though.

I would most certainly provide video evidence, but my laptop is a potato and OBS hates me. Could someone else try this out? It'd probably be a notable mention, because while niche it is funny when it happens. Payn (talk) 10:06, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
